Disabled Facilities and Carer’s Policy

The lights trail will be created to be as accessible as possible within the context of the farm. The route is all on hessian matting and gravel pathways and an accessible toilet is situated at the entrance next to our festive barn.

We don’t have designated disable parking as the parking is near the event. The parking is on a horse exercise arena which may be difficult for wheelchairs, if you have a wheelchair, we can provide other suitable parking.

Our lights trail is on farmland and a gravel path is available for most of the route apart from a 70m section at the start which is hessian matting. Wheelchairs can be directed around this section so please ask staff on the day.  The path can be uneven in places so discretion is needed, and it may not be suitable for all wheelchair users. We do have an alternative tarmac path so part of the trail could be enjoyed.

You are welcome to bring your own, but it must be a scooter that is suitable for the ground conditions.

Free admission is available for essential carers. This should be booked by calling us on 07881 678126.
